Helen. I’ve found lots of new favorites. So often they can be stale and overused.

Thanks. I think this is my favourite one so far. I do like, ‘like someone else’s shadow’. Since I can’t experience it first-hand, I’d probably read several of those fictional representations (like All Quiet on the Western Front), hopefully in my genre but not necessarily, and take notes on similes these authors use.

I never could come up with those on my own. A busy fall.
